Spicy Corn Potsy Bread

 
1 3/4 cup(s)                 Organic rice flour
 
2 cups                         Yellow Cornmeal
 
1/4 cup(s)                    Corn Syrup
 
1 tablespoon(s)            Baking Powder
 
3/4 teaspoon(s)            Salt
 
1/2 teaspoon(s)            Cayenne
 
3 tablespoon(s)            Cold butter, cut up, or tub kind
 
 (14 ounces)                 Fresh chopped blanched corn off the cob
 
1                                  Large egg
 
4                                  Green onions, sliced
 
 
DIRECTIONS
 
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
 
1.          In large bowl, mix flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, salt, and pepper…
2.          Add butter until mixture resembles fine crumbs…
3.          Stir corn, eggs, and green onions into flour mixture until just blended…
4.          Spoon batter into baking pan; spread evenly…
5.          Bake corn bread 25 minutes.
